Christian Tschanz's Brunnenhof in Oppligen (Bern) has grown roughly 100 edible and 20 decorative pumpkin varieties since 2022, culminating each year in a Kürbismarkt weekend with a pop-up restaurant run by his son Adrian serving pumpkin-based dishes.
In Liebewil (municipality of Köniz, Bern), Burrens Burehofmärit shows around 50 pumpkin varieties in a September–October exhibition alongside its farm shop. Since 2024 the farm has operated as a 'Lebenshof' sanctuary, meaning its animals are no longer raised for slaughter.
