Arnprior Farm near Stirling calls itself Scotland's original pumpkin patch, offering over 20,000 pumpkins to pick across a three-week October festival. The working farm also runs a destination glamping site with pods, a swimming pool and sauna. Family activities during the festival include a quad pod ride, pumpkin cannon, bale mountain and an indoor hay barn.
Newmill Pumpkins at Newmill Farm near Dolphinton, in the Scottish Borders close to West Linton, offers tractor and trailer rides out to its pumpkin patch alongside a maize maze and a spooky woodland walk. An indoor straw play area includes a bale maze and toddler tractor zone, plus a petting-animal area and food trucks. Pumpkins are sold individually from £1 to £8 depending on size.
East Links Family Park, a 20-acre farm-themed adventure park near Dunbar, runs an annual Pumpkin Festival where every visiting child receives a free pumpkin to pick and carve on site. The Halloween season also brings a Haunted House walk-through, a daily fancy-dress contest and a Halloween Hunt puzzle trail. The park's other year-round attractions include a Safari Train and go-karts.
Craigie's Farm at South Queensferry offers pick-your-own produce from June through October, ending the season with home-grown pumpkins. Its Halloween-season Pumpkin Festival includes a Monster Bale Trail with themed photo spots, paintball target shooting and a barrel ghost train. The farm shop includes a deli and cafe with an enclosed children's play area.
Clyde Valley Family Park in Crossford, South Lanarkshire, hosts a Pumpkin Festival where children get a free pumpkin included with park admission, picked from the field and carved on site. Halloween-season extras include a Creepy Corridor, daily fancy-dress contest and a Halloween Hunt. The park is one of the most-searched pumpkin patches in Scotland according to regional press coverage.
Balgone Estate near North Berwick runs a large pick-your-own pumpkin patch from 10 to 31 October 2026, priced at £18 per car. Visitors can also walk a 2.5km haunted trail around Balgone Lakes with scenic photo spots throughout the grounds. The estate grows its pumpkins on site from May onward.
