Balbriggan Pumpkin Patch is a two-weekend community pumpkin-picking event held on the grounds of Bremore Educate Together Secondary School and run by the school's Parents Association. Visitors pick a pumpkin, browse a craft fair, and can get a scare from costumed students; entry is a small per-person or family fee. Dogs are not permitted except registered assistance animals.
Pumpkins After Dark is a family-friendly illuminated Halloween trail at Newbridge House & Farm with thousands of pumpkins, live carving, entertainment and seasonal food. The 2026 run is October 2-31 and includes a sensory-friendly evening on October 11.
Scalp Wood Nurseries in Kilternan runs an annual Pumpkin Festival where children pick and carve their own pumpkin in the nursery's big barn, alongside a Spookley-themed maze and a Haunted Witches Room aimed at older children. Booking is required and pumpkin picking starts from a small per-person charge.
Luggwoods Enchanted Forest is a woodland trail attraction in the Dublin Mountains near Saggart village that runs a seasonal Spooktacular Forest Trail and Fall Festival each autumn. Families walk the Spookwood Express train route and trail meeting themed characters, with autumn displays and pumpkins given out along the way. The same site also runs separate Christmas and other seasonal events.
