Tanner's Orchard is a fourth-generation family apple orchard near Speer with over 11,000 trees. Beyond u-pick apples and pumpkins, the farm offers a seasonal sunflower field, a corn maze, wagon rides to the orchard, and the Back 40 Fun Acres area with farm animals. A farm market and bakery sell cider donuts and other baked goods, and leashed dogs are welcome for a $10 fee.
Kane Family Farms is a newer family farm attraction near Ottawa, Illinois (opened 2022), with two corn mazes of different difficulty, a u-pick pumpkin and sunflower field, hayrack rides, and a petting zoo. It operates Thursday through Sunday each fall with per-person wristband admission covering all activities.
Rader Family Farms is a fourth-generation working farm in Normal, Illinois offering a 12-acre corn maze (a Route 66 centennial design for 2026), a separate kids' maze, and u-pick pumpkin fields. The farm also hosts an annual Sunflower Days festival, hayrack rides, a zipline, and dozens of other paid activities, plus several flashlight night maze dates each fall. Pets are not permitted, and school field trips are offered on weekday mornings.
