Maislabyrinth Erfurt is a large seasonal leisure ground in Erfurt, Thüringen, combining a timed-entry corn maze with a beer garden, beach lounge (volleyball, table tennis, chess), and a full events calendar of concerts and open-air festivals. The 2026 maze season runs 8 July to 20 September, Wednesday to Sunday, with free general site access outside maze entry and special events.
The egapark, Erfurt's large botanical exhibition garden, stages an annual 'Kürbiszeit' pumpkin show with more than 50,000 pumpkins built into large sculptures (2026 theme: 'Unter dem Meer', an underwater world). The 2026 pumpkin exhibition runs 5 September to 31 October, Tuesday to Sunday, within the park's general daily opening hours; the park also has a playground, observation tower, and museum.
The Riesenkürbisfest at the Strandbad (lake beach) in Breitungen/Werra, Thüringen, is billed as the region's largest pumpkin festival, featuring a giant-pumpkin weighing competition and pumpkin-boat paddling races on the lake. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 12–13 September, organised by the Gemeinde Breitungen.
