Colin Glen Forest Park in west Belfast runs a family 'Pumpkin Forest and Gruffalo Walk' each October, where children pick a pumpkin to carve and follow a guided woodland trail past hand-carved Gruffalo Trail sculptures with storytelling. It is separate from the park's more intense 18+ 'Fear Forest' Halloween horror event held at the same site. Tickets in 2025 started at £15.
