An event-hire barn property in the Barossa Valley at Freeling, South Australia, that has previously planted a free-entry pick-your-own sunflower paddock on a gold-coin-donation basis. The sunflower field is weather dependent and did not go ahead in 2025 due to insufficient rainfall, so whether it will run in 2026 is unconfirmed. The venue also hosts events and weddings.
Atkins Farm is a pick-your-own sunflower farm in the Adelaide Hills that requires pre-booked, timed 30-minute entry sessions during its bloom season, roughly mid-January through February (Australian summer). Visitors bring their own bucket and secateurs to cut a bunch to take home. The farm was closed for the season as of this July 2026 check, with its next season expected to open around mid-January.
Maxwell Maze is a hedge maze at Maxwell Wines' picnic grounds in McLaren Vale, available on a first-come, first-served basis during business hours for groups of up to eleven adults. A premium picnic package combining a hamper with maze access is also offered. Unlike the region's harvest-season sunflower and pumpkin attractions, the maze operates year-round rather than on a seasonal calendar.
A family-run pick-your-own flower farm at Tarlee, between South Australia's Barossa and Clare Valleys, about 90 minutes north of Adelaide. Established in 2021, it is known for its annual Sunflower Festival plus other pick-your-own flower and pizza events. It is a working farm rather than a large commercial attraction.
A pick-your-own sunflower farm at Suttontown, just north of Mount Gambier in South Australia's Limestone Coast region. It opens its paddock gates during the January-February season, and has planted a sunflower maze as a regular seasonal feature. Flowers are also sold by arrangement outside open days and turn up at local Mount Gambier businesses.
A family-owned strawberry farm, market hall and cafe at Mount Compass on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula, run by the Sherry family since 2012. Its main draw is a pick-your-own strawberry patch open mid-October to late May, with pumpkins and other produce sold seasonally at the market hall. It is a well-established agritourism stop rather than a dedicated pumpkin-patch attraction.
Barossa Bowland's Dinosaur Maze & Walk in Tanunda features more than 40 dinosaur exhibits, with additional displays added in 2026. The same family venue offers dinosaur mini golf, bowling and café food.
The Labyrinth at Woodhouse Adventure Park is a giant split-level panel maze with riddles and more than 500 metres of possible exploration. A day pass also covers Challenge Hill, disc golf, bouldering, orienteering and picnic facilities.
