The Pop Up Farm, run by sixth-generation Hertfordshire farmer Ian Pigott on Thrales End Farm near Harpenden, offers pick-your-own pumpkins, sunflowers and corn on a working regenerative farm, plus an evening 'Moonlit Pumpkins' event and school education programmes. A new family maize maze at the charitable Standalone Farm in Letchworth, included with normal farm admission. The current maze is designed as a familiar farm animal and normally takes families about 45 minutes, with emergency exits and an optional map.
Cammas Hall Farm near Hatfield Broad Oak, on the Hertfordshire/Essex border, cuts a six-acre dinosaur-themed maize maze with a mini maze, and also offers footgolf, a play area, pick-your-own produce and a tea barn with stone-baked pizzas. The maze ran throughout August in 2025; 2026 dates were not yet confirmed at time of research.
