Hook's Sunflower Farm is a 1.5-hectare sunflower paddock behind the main lake at Hook Wānaka, a salmon-fishing and restaurant venue at Albert Town near Wānaka. Launched for the first time in the 2025/26 summer by Toby Lee and Tessa Wallace, the field blooms from mid-January and is timed to draw visitors alongside the restaurant.
Maungawera Maize Maze is a tractor-themed maze cut into a farmer's paddock in the Maungawera Valley near Wānaka, featuring six checkpoints for visitors to find. It is used for family visits, school fundraisers, and Easter events including an egg hunt.
