Ashburton Maize Maze is a family-run maize maze near Fairton on the Hanrahan property in Mid Canterbury, featuring an ear-tag scavenger hunt and word puzzle as part of entry. It has run for several consecutive seasons and has previously linked to a separate horror maze event later in the season. Location can move between paddocks on the family's land from year to year.
The A'maize'n Maze is an annual maize-field maze cut on the grounds of Barton Rural School on Fairview Road, Timaru, run by the Barton Rural Home and School Committee as a fundraiser. It combines a family daytime maze on weekend afternoons with a Friday/Saturday evening 'Scare Night' session.
Tram Fields Corn Maze & Sunflowers is a North Canterbury farm attraction at Swannanoa combining a summer corn maze with a pick-your-own sunflower field, sold together on a family farm pass. Local press has described it as effectively Christchurch's only corn maze. It is run alongside the farm's Christmas tree operation.
