Joe's Farm Crisps in Ballycurraginny, Killeagh, is primarily a potato-crisp producer and farm shop that also runs seasonal pre-booked pumpkin-picking walks each autumn. Visitors tour the farm, learn about the vegetables grown there, and pick their own pumpkin to take home; the event is outdoors in all but red weather warnings and is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.
Field of Dreams in Curraheen, Cork, runs an annual Pick-A-Pumpkin Harvest Festival over two Sundays in October, letting visitors pick their own pumpkin for a ticketed entry fee. The site also operates a pumpkin patch and cafe more generally in the autumn weeks around the festival dates.
