Sunshine Fields is a 6.5-acre pick-your-own sunflower farm in Karaka, south Auckland, run as a family passion project and promoted as one of Auckland's newer sunflower attractions. It runs weekly dog-friendly open days during its January-February season and is closed outside that window. The 2026 season had already ended by the time of this research, with the farm confirming it will reopen in January 2027.
Taupiri Sunflower Farm is a two-hectare pick-your-own sunflower field on Gordonton Road near Taupiri, about an hour south of Auckland.
