Pialligo Apples is an organically certified orchard near Canberra Airport known for growing more than 60 apple varieties, which also offers pick-your-own pumpkins as a secondary autumn crop. Majura Valley Farm runs an annual sunflower maze and pick-your-own field just outside Canberra, with free entry and a small per-stem charge (capped at five stems per adult). The farm also offers animal meet-and-greets, a farm shop and food and drink. Its 2026 harvest weekend was held 28-29 March, confirming the venue's Australian-summer-to-early-autumn operating season.
